Hi, i'm
kirsten

Are you struggling with the effects of trauma, difficult early life experiences, or current life challenges? I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed therapy space where healing and lasting growth are possible.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, grief, life transitions, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences, drawing on evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) — integrated within a collaborative, grounded, and relational framework tailored to your unique needs.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), and I bring over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families. My background as a preschool teacher and birth doula has deeply informed my understanding of attachment, early development, and the therapeutic relationship — the foundation of feeling truly seen and supported.
My own journey as a widow and single mother — working and going to school while raising two children — profoundly shaped who I am as a therapist. Having faced significant challenges without adequate support, I am deeply committed to ensuring my clients never feel alone in their healing.
I combine clinical expertise with intuitive attunement, meeting each client with genuine empathy and a steady, grounded presence. My passion is helping people heal from past wounds, build resilience, and create more fulfilling, connected lives.
